The Instituto Tecnológico de Costa Rica, Universidad Nacional  and Universidad Estatal a Distancia (UNED) announce the opening of the fourth class Natural Science doctorate for the Development, launched in February of 2011.

This PhD is a bimodal inter-university program that coordinates mandatory attendance to academic activities, at distance and virtual. They also participate in postgraduate in Latin America level, the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM), the Universidad Autónoma Chapingo, (UACh), the Universidad de Colima de México, the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de Nicaragua (UNAN-León) and the Universidad de Ciego de Avila in Cuba.

The call is extended to all those professionals with Master's degree and Bachelor (exceptional cases) in the areas of Agronomy, Biology, Forestry, Environment, Chemistry, Electronics and related areas.
