The project ENLACE has as aim to support the bi-regional dialogue between EU and CA in subjects of science and technology, identifying common interests in research areas, establishing priorities in Science and Technology (CyT), supporting capacity building activities and improving the dialogue among the region.  

The aims of enlace include

• Identification and prioritization in areas of common research and mutual interest and benefit.
• Establishment of a network of contact points for 7PM in Central America.
• Promotion of public-private partnerships and strengthening of private sector participation in innovation, activities and knowledge transfer activities.

Scholarships Program

 The researches will have the support to participate in International conferences and technology transfer events which will take place in Europe. Their stay will also include visits to research centers, with the purpose to provide the opportunity to meet potential partners and facilitate the construction for future projects.

European Higher Education Study Tours for Higher Education Leaders in Latin America

This high level of study Tour offers to participants a unique opportunity to broaden their knowledge about the evolution in higher education by discussion with  high-level university leaders, high level experts and high-level officials of the European Commission

This high-level of studies from the Programa Circuito Europeo (UE-STEP) mainly sponsored by the European Comission whithin the program ERASMUS MUNDUS. Action 3, European of Higher Education. It is designed to promote a better understanding of European higher education and the exchange among high-level university leaders and european  and United State institutions. The Erasmus MUNDUS scholarship allows to participants to benefit from a 50% reduction in the price, which means, 1950 € instead of 3950 € (all theaccomodation costs and intra-European flights includied, but not including intercontinental flights).

The DAAD in cooperation with the University of Bremen, the National University of Colombia and the Pontifical Universidad Javeriana and in coordination with the Consejo Superior Universitario Centroamericano (CSUCA) will organize the seminar "Development of Research Projects".

First Part: From September 28th to October 2nd 2010, Bogotá

Second Part: March 2011, Bogotá

The seminar is part of DIES program (Dialogue on Innovative Higher Education Strategies) of the DAAD (German Academic Exchange Service) and the German Rectors Conference (HRK).
